Ursoc is one of the Wild Gods. Patron of the furbolg, and closely linked to the druidic power of shapeshifting, the ancient great bear has long been a protector of Azeroth. But as Ursoc slumbered at his shrine in the Grizzly Hills, the world around him was plunged into corruption, and he awoke to torment and Nightmare, consuming and twisting his being.

Quick Tips

Ursoc tramples his enemies with Barreling Impact and periodically roars for a Roaring Cacophany .

(Mythic only): Nightmare Images periodically animate and will attack players.

Everyone

  • Roaring Cacophany at the start can be handled by just the tanks and melee players, but the damage will ramp up and all players will be needed by the end of the fight.
  • (Heroic/Mythic) Ensure you do not stand in the Miasma void zones from the Nightmare Images.
  • (Heroic/Mythic) Roaring Cacophany's radius being quite large, make use of it. Move out of it immediately after the cast finishes, to avoid taking damage from Miasma.

Damage Dealers

  • When not afflicted with Momentum, stand in Ursoc's path when he uses Focused Gaze to reduce the amount of damage Barreling Impact inflicts.
  • Get as far away from Ursoc as possible when targeted by Focused Gaze to reduce the damage taken from Trampling Slam.
  • (Mythic) AoE down the Nightmarish Images before they can fear players.

Healers

  • When not afflicted with Momentum, stand in Ursoc's path when he uses Focused Gaze to reduce the amount of damage Barreling Impact inflicts.
  • Get as far away from Ursoc as possible when targeted by Focused Gaze to reduce the damage taken from Trampling Slam.
  • Damage will ramp up throughout the fight.
  • Be sure to keep some healing cooldowns for when Ursoc reaches 30% health and soft enrages.

Tanks

  • Ensure that no tank overlaps the effects of both Overwhelm and Rend Flesh at the same time, taunting when necessary.
  • Switch off which tank holds Ursoc's attention for Overwhelm and Rend Flesh each time he charges.
  • (Heroic, Mythic) Stay out of the proximity of Nightmare Images to avoid Nightmarish Cacophany.

Main abilities

Rend Flesh

Inflicts a large amount of physical damage and applies an hard hitting dot which last 12 seconds.


Overvhelm

Deals a large anmount of physical damage and reduces armor by 20%. Also increase damage taken from Rend Flesh by 250% for 12 seconds (this effect stacks).


Focused Gaze

Charges a player after 6 seconds dealing damage to them which is reduced the further away they are. On arrival deals a large amount of damage to entire raid (reduced by the number of players hit by charge).
Players hit by charge are knocked back and will take increased damage on the next charges.


Roaring cacophony

Deals a large amount of damage split between all targets within 20 yds. Leave also behind a nightmare image.
This image will deal ticking damage to all players within 20 yds and duplicate subsequent roars.
Players hit by image roars will be also feared.


Blood Frenzy

At 30% health, Ursoc enrages and gains a 20% damage and attack speed buff.


Miasma

(Heroic/Mythic) deals damage each second to players standing in its area of effect.
